Legend:
AMF (Automatic Mains Failure) - control switchboard, which
automatically responds to mains failure
MP-ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) - load switching power switchboard
MP-MAIN - main breaker power switch
M (Manual) - control board with manual control of the operation
MP-AUTOMATIC - automatic control switchboard for automatic operation
MP-MANUAL - control switchboard for manual operation

MP-AUTOMATIC
MP-AUTOMATIC switchboards are used for an automatic load transmission
from the mains (when failured) to the genset and contrariwise
(after the mains restore). Its major part is automatic control
unit, which except that function comprendiously informs about
the mains, engine and alternator condition.
MP-AUTOMATIC control boards are fitted with four types of automatic
control units: |
|
|
|
|
BE21 |
BE46 |
BE2000 |
InteliGen |
|
|
Besides
fuctions, which provide individual control units, the switchboards
contains standardly:
- battery charger (charging from the mains),
- emergency stop button,
- terminal board for connection of remote control and signalling
- Control units has a possibility of comunications for local management
from PC:
- Be46 and Be2000 through RS 232,
when add a communication modul Be15 and through RS
485 and GSM modem and mobile phone
- InteliGen through
RS232,
RS422, RS485, Modbus, CAN bus, modem, GSM modem, internet
Optionally, it is possible to add a remote signalling panel, which
standardly contains signalling about engine and generator operation,
associated alarm and emergency stop button.
It is possible to complete the switchboard with the other functions
as well as to place it outside the genset, which depends of customer’s
request. MP-AUTOMATIC switchboards are standardly designed in
TNC, or TN-S voltage systems (optionally TT, IT) with protection
degree of IP40/20.

MP-MANUAL
MP-MANUAL control boards is used for genset managing working
as independent energy source, where the load connection and disconnection
is managed by an operator.
Control unit ensures genset protection against emergency conditions
and monitors operation parameters of the engine and the generator.
MP-MANUAL control boards are fited with control unit: |
|
|
Standardly
are mounted on the genset frame.
MP-MANUAL control boards are designed in TNC, or TN-S voltage
systems (optionally TT, IT) with protection degree IP40/20.

MP-
PARALLEL
MP - PARALLEL control boards is used for parallel cooperation
of the generating sets or the cogenerating units. Method of this
parallel cooperation of the gensets between each other, or with
the mains is designed according requests and real user’s necessity.
According this requests relate the applied system and equipment
of the gensets and MP PARALLEL control boards. It is fitted with
automatic control unit: |
|
Standardly
are mounted on the genset frame.
MP-PARALLEL control boards are designed in TNC, or TN-S voltage
systems (optionally TT, IT) with protection degree IP40/20.

MP-ATS
MP-ATS control boards are segregated from control circuits
in separate box with protection degree IP40/20. It is used for
automatic switching of the load between the mains and the generator.
According the voltage system TNC, or TN-S it contains 3- or 4-poles
switches of relevant output and besides this also 3phase 16A mains
output for own genset consumption and mains voltage monitoring.
Power switches (contactors, motorized disconnecting, or motorized
breakers) are ensured against contemporary switching with electric
and mechanical interlock. Intake from the mains and from the generator
is directly made to the contactors terminals, backed-up output
to the appliances is connecting to the terminal box.

MP-MAIN
MP-MAIN control boards are used for disconnecting of the load
from the generator and protect the generator against the current
overload too. According the voltage system TN-C or TN-S it contains
3- or 4- pole circuit breaker of relevant output and besides this
it has also lead out the generator voltage monitoring. This breaker
is standardly with mechanical drive, but on customer’s request
can be with motor drive too. From about 1000 A it is used the
disconnectors, not standard breakers. Intake from the generator
is made directly to the breaker terminals. If the genset operates
as a stand-by unit, the second side of the breaker is directly
connected with the control board MP-ATS and if the genset is operating
as an independent power source, the terminals from the breaker
are connected to the buses, where will be the load consecutively
feeded.
In any cases can be the measuring current transformers placed
in the MP-MAIN.
MP-MAIN control boards are segregated from the control circuits
in separate box with protection degree of IP40/20.
It is generally placed on the genset frame as close as possible
to the generator to be protected in the best way.
